I booked a rental for kayak in-tandem as a birthday gift to my boyfriend. The staff was very friendly throughout the entire process. The atmosphere of the shop itself was very positive and welcoming. Booking was simple, they were happy to answer all of my questions (I had a lot), and communication was very clear. This was overall a positive experience and my boyfriend and I enjoyed our time on the lake. Thank you GetBoards!

We had a great experience renting a tandem kayak from Get Boards. Everybody was so nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, we chose a windy day, so we couldn't paddle as far as we would have liked. But we had a lot of fun and saw a variety of birds, including a group of White Pelicans and a Belted Kingfisher. Get Boards made the rental experience easy, and our kayak was quite comfortable. I highly recommend Get Boards. The photo attached is of the launch area as we paddled back to it. The fall colors in Big Bear this time of year were beautiful.

it was so fun! i recommend coming here on a nice hot day. the day i went was pretty windy and cold, but i still had a lot of fun :)
