What You’ll Do

While the art of glassblowing might appear magical—changing liquid to solid, bending flames to one’s will—there are no dark arts required. Over the course of her two-hour workshop, Carlyn Ray teaches newcomers and glass buffs alike to transform the heat of fire and the clang of steel into elegant, display-worthy pieces.

  • Color It
Select the hues for your piece, then work with Carlyn and her team to add pizzaz to the molten glass.

  • Shape It
Specialized tools help you easily form and mold your object into an appealing shape.

  • Bring It Home
After roughly five days, stop by Carlyn’s studio to pick up your cooled masterpiece.
