Method Man and Redman

• Method Man is rapper Clifford Smith’s most recognized and revered alias (he’s also known as Meth, Tical, Johnny Blaze, Hott Nikkels, MZA, and Iron Lung). As one of the founding members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Meth first broke out from the pack in the standout Enter the 36 Chambers track “M.E.T.H.O.D. Man,” which announced, and even spelled out, a major voice to be reckoned with. Since then, he’s never slowed, cranking out solo records, tag-teaming with partner Redman, and playing a recurring role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Voted one of the Top 50 Lyricists by The Source, Meth doesn’t play around with his wordplay. He seems to have a thesaurus in his back pocket, whether he’s spinning upbeat party yarns such as “Da Rockwilder” with Redman or carving his name in chests in the hit “Bring Da Pain.”
• Redman or Reginald Noble is an accomplished rapper, MC, DJ, record producer, and actor. He made his world debut on the EPMD album Business as Usual back in 1990, but he’s best known for his collaborations with Method Man. A hip-hop veteran, for the past two decades Redman has recorded some classic albums and given many high-energy stage performances.
