About Survival Fitness

Sharing studio space, Survival Fitness and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Shreveport/Bossier imparts different fitness techniques to its students, with the ultimate goal of students carrying their teachings into their everyday lives. Over on the Survival Fitness side of things, personal trainers instruct exercisers in one-on-one sessions. The trainers put emphasis on working out the whole body instead of just quickly prepping clients for slinky summerwear, including focusing on habits and lifestyle. They see the human body as a machine that needs to be reprogrammed in order to see lasting results. Meanwhile, students at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Shreveport/Bossier learn the Gracie style of martial arts, which gets bodies and minds to work together to affect change, just like a movie set in a high school gets rival cliques to work together to plan prom.
