While a chartered yacht is a comfortable way to tour the seas, it can only navigate city streets with the help of hundreds of unhappy pack mules. Tour Chicago in terra firma style and comfort with today's Groupon. For $16, you get a one-day ticket to the Hop On Hop Off Trolley and Upper Decker Tour from Gray Line (a $30 value). Chicago, like a chameleon terrified by its reflection in the giant lake by which it lives, is ever-changing, with each season bringing new architecture, art, and activities for people to consume with their senses. Gray Line's Hop On Hop Off Trolley and Upper Decker Tour ferries folk around Chicago's lakefront and downtown area, with the option to depart and board the bus at any of its various landmark-centric stops. During the eight-hour tour, you'll pass such Windy City must-sees as The Field Museum, the Adler Planetarium, and the John Hancock Center, with the freedom to disembark from the trolley or upper-decker bus to visit these centers of science and sightseeing. Shop at Water Tower Place, stroll along Navy Pier, and contemplate how the Sears Tower was stolen in the middle of the night and replaced by the nearly identical Willis Tower, and then re-board the tour trolleys to be whisked away to the next stop on your Ferris Bueller re-enactment experience.
During the tour, you'll be joined by a variety of out-of-towners who have descended upon the City of Big Shoulders to revel in its rich pageantry. If you're a Chicago resident taking advantage of this awesome deal, instruct these visitors in long-standing Chicago traditions, such as yelling "Guillen!" whenever you pass a pigeon or getting your photo taken in front of the fire hydrant in Millennium Park. If you're a tourist taking advantage of this deal while you visit Chicago, just play along. Get your Groupon and hop on the trolley at one of its nine boarding points for a first-rate trip around the Second City.

About Gray Line - Chicago
The Chicago branch of Gray Line's global sightseeing operation organizes a wide variety of tours and excursions throughout the Windy City, from architectural tours that send passengers coasting on the river and lake for sun-drenched educational cruises to shopping odysseys at Chicago Premium Outlets, where travelers can zip through more than 100 stores and restaurants after being shuttled to the retail utopia. Blues outings treat music lovers to raw licks, soul food, and real tears at celebrated concert venues such as Buddy Guy's Legends and Rosa's Lounge.
Gray Line's cherry-red trolleys transport visitors and residents alike to famous Chicago sites. Just north of the river, the vehicles idle before the Wrigley Building's sparkling white terra cotta façade, which in the 1920s stood as the first major skyscraper outside of The Loop. From there, the trolley may motor north to the John Hancock Center, where elevators to its observatory sweep guests 96 floors in 39 seconds. The trolley could also steer south to the Willis Tower, which lost its maiden name of Sears after being charmed by a passing cumulus cloud.
