What We Offer

Embark on a two-hour walking tour led by a local, licensed guide who will regale you with fascinating tales of the city's haunted history. Experience two interactive augmented reality encounters created by native New Orleanian artist Marcus Brown.

  • Your guide will introduce you to Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau and share the evolution of Voodoo, a religion that arrived with the first West African people in 1719 and is still practiced today. Voodoo dances and rituals have merged so intimately with New Orleans’ contemporary culture that it often goes unrecognized... but you'll recognize it tonight!

  • Come see why New Orleans is #MoreThanBourbonStreet. The tour starts daily at 7 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before tour time.

  • This walking tour includes two interactive augmented reality experiences, with more in development. Gray Line commissioned native New Orleanian Marcus Brown, a sculptor, painter, inventor, musician, and educator whose expansive work includes national and international exhibits and performances.

  • What's included? Two-hour walking tour, fascinating tales by local, licensed tour guide, and augmented reality experiences created by local artist Marcus Brown

  • Please note: There are two augmented reality experiences on this tour, with more in development. The AR exhibits are compatible with iPhones or iPads. It is not necessary to download an app to participate. The guide will offer other viewing options to Android users. Standard data and internet usage is required for AR experience.

  • To help preserve the French Quarter from vehicular traffic, please walk, if possible, to the convenient tour departure point - just a short stroll from most downtown hotels.
