Choose one of three $20 classes offered by friendly, eco-friendly motor-oil pioneers to teach freshly licensed teens, non-AAA drivers, budding carsmen, and anyone who wants to learn the basics and tricks of vehicle maintenance.

• Car Care 101: Learn how to change oil, replace air filters, inspect your ride’s vital fluids, remove and change a flat, and what it takes to give your car a quick safety inspection before vaulting over a line of rusty sedans (1.5 hours).
• Car Care 102: No pre-requisites are required to gain a working understanding of a car’s engine components and simple tune-up procedures. Inspect and replace spark plugs, distributors, drive belts, and fuel filter (1.5 hours).
• Women-Only Basic Car Care: The Green Drop Garage gents provide a welcoming atmosphere for an in-depth class with extended Q&A session that covers Car Care 101 topics and the hows and whens of performing typical repairs (2 hours).

Classes are scheduled on various Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m. Green Drop also invites students to schedule their own future shop times to implement their new skills in an expertly supervised garage.
