Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring? I teach guitar students in 2 ways. They'll learn the skill of traditional note reading and basic music theory from the popular Dick Bennett and Mel Bay Methods. Then I introduce them to guitar tablature in preparation for songwriting, performing, soloing, improvisation and a possible lifetime of enjoyment.I teach vocal students the basics of the guitar and how to use it with their voice exercises. Once they have the basic technique down I’ll teach them how to sing the songs that will help them achieve their goals. All they’ll need is a guitar..

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? The inspiration for starting my business came from a love of playing the guitar and a desire to have a career in music.

What do you love most about your job? It's unbelievably rewarding being able to teach someone a skill that’s not easily mastered. And I get so much enjoyment from seeing the finished result..
