Children learn best from exhibits involving lights and colors, which means you can either take them to a children's museum or let them rub their eyes too hard. Teach wee ones safely with today's Groupon: for $10, you get admission for two to Imagine That!!! children’s museum on Vreeland Road (up to a $21.30 value).
In existence for more than 20 years, Imagine That!!! offers a range of illuminating exhibits and activities for preschool and young school-aged children, providing safe, educational fun for the entire family. Unlike at the Museum of Rusty Car Parts, children are encouraged to touch, discover, and explore more than 50 unique exhibits. Visit the music room, in which future Mozarts, Bachs, and Victor Borges can get their first revelatory exposure to cymbals, castanets, and triangles. Meanwhile, the doctor’s office teaches anatomy using colorful charts, disability awareness by going up a ramp in a wheelchair, and proper use of a stethoscope as described by a talkative skeleton.
A puppet theater, grocery store, space shuttle, Victorian house, and pirate ship offer additional settings to let imaginations roam free. A one-level, no-stairs facility, Imagine That!!! is accessible to children of all sizes and needs, except the colossal children of giants, and the bright, open area allows parents or group leaders to keep track of children easily, resulting in a Lost Kids bin that is usually empty.
