Motorcycles combine the coolness of Marlon Brando, the stylishness of leather clothing, and the convenience of jumping every gorge in the neighborhood. Experience all aspects of two-wheeled entertainment with today's Groupon to Iron Steed Harley-Davidson. Choose from four options:

  • For $35, you get a one-day Dyna Harley rental (a $70 value).
  • For $60, you get a one-day Cruiser Harley rental (a $120 value)
  • For $70, you get a one-day Touring Harley rental (a $140 value).
  • For $145, you get a Rider's Edge New Rider course (a $295 value), which includes the following:
    • 25 hours of expert guidance from Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)– and Harley-Davidson–certified instructors.
    • An MSF basic-rider-course completion card, which exempts riders from the riding portion of the California motorcycle license test.

Iron Steed Harley-Davidson imparts the basics of two-wheel maneuvering to aspiring riders before handing them the reigns on Buell Blast bikes in the Rider's Edge New Rider courses. During each session of the 25-hour Rider's Edge program, beginners delve into the basics of braking, turning, and bus jumping before moving on to advanced bikesmanship skills, such as controlling skids and surmounting obstacles in the road. Newly minted hog handlers who graduate the course get their MSF completion card, which allows them to skip the riding portion of the California-motorcycle-license test and may snag them discounts on motorcycle insurance.

In addition to educating new riders, Iron Steed Harley-Davidson lets two-wheel aficionados air-dry their hair or leather jackets with a vast fleet of current-year and late-model Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Riders 21 years and older can jump on a Dyna-model Harley, or cruise about town or unsuspecting shopping malls astride a Fat Boy, Heritage, or Road King bike. Alternately, take a leisurely ride on an Electra Glide Classic, Road Glide Custom, or Street Glide Touring motorcycle.

About Iron Steed Harley-Davidson

The two-wheeler experts of Iron Steed Harley-Davidson teamed up with the venerated manufacturer in 1976, and now house new and preowned hogs in a 30,000-square-foot facility with easy access to the Pacific coast, Napa Valley, and the Sierras. Riders aged 21 or older secure luggage and teddy-bear compadres in onsite storage, before setting out atop late-model rental steeds such as Heritage, Road King cruisers, Road Glide Custom, or Street Glide touring bikes.

An onsite service center restores wounded rides with factory-authorized repairs and one-day routine maintenance. Parts and clothing departments allow Harley enthusiasts to customize bikes without having to lick them.
