Although JB Performance Training specializes in helping athletes take their game to the next level, the fitness coaches are equally capable of helping people that want to stay in shape. The 4,000-square-foot facility is open all year long, offering group classes and customized personal-training sessions alike. In both, improving strength and stamina is a priority. However, the trainers' main goal is to teach competitive athletes and casual exercisers how to improve the efficiency of their movements and minimize the risk of injuries. Free weights, medicine balls, and sleds are all available for use, as is the 30-yard stretch of indoor turf that allows visitors to work on their speed, agility, and ice cream truck-catching skills.
