What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We understand the importance of getting your daily workout…before the kids wake up! We blend traditional martial arts with interval training so you can work hard, have fun AND learn self-defense techniques.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
We stay motivated through interval sessions of cardio/strength training then over to the technical skills of Shotokan Karate. Shotokan in a non-contact traditional martial art that focuses on ‘training for life’.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
When I was in the Philippines, I was stalked by a maintenance worker. I was so grateful for my martial arts training, because even though I was scared, I knew I would be safe. By combining intense physical fitness with martial arts, more women can see the benefits of martial arts.
What do you love most about your job?
I love watching women gain confidence about their bodies and their techniques. When you make process, you see your results. Whatever your goals in life are; developing your body and mastering expert skills, will help you get there.
