What You'll Get
Contrary to popular belief, kids prefer a trip to the pumpkin patch over other weekend destinations, including toothpaste conventions and the Lollapa-lettuce festival. Cancel your plans and head to a pumpkin-laden wonderland with today’s Groupon: for $7, you get one admission and a maze ticket to the KC Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze (up to a $16 value), located in Gardner, about 30 miles southwest of Kansas City. This Groupon is good until Oct. 31, 2010.
The KC Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze features an array of old-fashioned action-packed activities that’ll delight the whole clan. Kids can leap and bound on the jumping pillow, then skedaddle over to the Humpty Dumpty rock-climbing wall to scale even taller heights. The Yellow Brick Road train ride choo-choos its way around the facility on the weekends, while the petting zoo features adorable piglets and other animals. Snack on sweet and sugary carnival food including fried funnel cakes, tasty kettle corn, cotton candy, apple cider slushies, and tempting pumpkin donuts. Families can take home healthy, picture-perfect pumpkins from a selection of thousands and immediately start carving haunting Richard Dreyfuss designs. Down-home country investigators can use this deal to journey through the 2010 corn maze, shaped as a tribute to the Kansas City Royals. Jump on the hay loft, enjoy a couple of holes on the mini-golf course, and whisk down the great pumpkin slide with today’s Groupon to the KC Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze.

About KC Pumpkin Patch
Look through Kirk and Julie Berggren's family photo album, and you'll see a lot of pumpkins. Each fall, the Berggrens and their kids would visit farms and pick pumpkins, and these orange-tinted memories continued as the military family moved across the country. Today, they've settled down in perhaps the perfect home: a 40-acre farm surrounded by trees and with plenty of room to help create new fall memories for themselves and other families.
Each year as the leaves start to change, KC Pumpkin Patch welcomes guests with friendly farm animals, and orange pumpkins as far as a jack-o'-lantern's eyes can't see. Other farm games include a giant jumping pillow, ziplines, and a gourd gun that shoots the eponymous fruits through the air.
