What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Lakeshore Bicycles has been in business continually since 1961. Everyone who's ever worked here loves bikes and wants to see every person coming through the door on one. It's healthy, fun and has low environmental impact. We love to make people happy and comfortable on their bikes and in our store.

What do you love most about your job?
What we love most about our job is getting to see the results of our hard work. We love to see wide smiles when a bicycle fits correctly or when we have the latest and greatest gadgets in stock. We love to see the progression people make as cyclists, no matter what type of riding they enjoy!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
The best customer feedback we've received comes from people who we have solved a problem for. Sometimes we're the first shop to see people, sometimes we're not, but we love becoming the last shop customers ever need to go to because we take the time to find out their needs and exceed them!
