Certified instructors teach tennis fundamentals such as footwork & swing motion in small, supportive classes that last one hour
Like classic Hollywood films, tennis matches are filled with multiple loves, sneaky backhanded moves, and tense, sweat-inducing court scenes. Add some drama to your day with today's Groupon: for $40, you get a six-week adult tennis program at LaTuchie Tennis Center in Stow (an $81 value).
The certified instructors at LaTuchie Tennis Center run drills and launch practice shots during Tennis "Fun"damentals sessions held once a week. Over the course of each one-hour lesson, racket-wielders 18 and older hone basic skills such as shot placement, footwork, swing motion, and grunting pitch on the center's six newly resurfaced indoor courts and four outdoor courts, nestled in a serene park setting. The social, non-competitive classes approach an 8:1 student-teacher ratio, leaving players with more rally time and personalized instruction in a supportive environment. LaTuchie's communal rackets and tennis balls wait patiently to be swung and struck; students need only bring proper athletic attire, such as shorts, T-shirts, and spandex coattails. The program's weekly classes stretch Sunday–Thursday, and student discounts on additional court time during the week help to hasten mastery of the continental grip.

About LaTuchie Tennis Center
Throughout the year, the USPTA-certified professionals at LaTuchie Tennis Center hone the on-court skills of adults and kids alike during social tennis courses. No more than eight students participate with each instructor, allowing the instructors to fully grasp each player’s strengths, weaknesses, and areas that need the most attention. Lessons unfold on four outdoor courts during summer months and six indoor courts, helping students test their playing abilities in different settings regardless of outside or inside dust devils. LaTuchie Tennis Center also keeps players well equipped once their lesson days are over with gear and racquet-repair services at their full-service pro shop.
