About Lehigh University Camps - Lehigh Soccer Academy

For more than two decades, the coaches at Lehigh Soccer Academy's soccer camps have been teaching boys and girls of all ages the skills they need to improve their game. Everyone from complete beginners to experienced athletes hone their dribbling techniques, passing skills, and shooting accuracy during the summer sessions. They also learn moves designed to trick the other team, such as performing a quick step over or hiding the ball inside the ref's shorts.

Kids then show off their newfound skills during end-of-the-day soccer matches. Extended-day camps include lunchtime and a trivia challenge. Tikes 'n Spikes camps for kids ages 3–5 include a snack break.

The camp is directed by Michael O’Connell, a former Lehigh University assistant coach and the current head coach of the boys' soccer program at Freedom High School. His staff of camp coaches features Lehigh University players, local club coaches, and high school coaches from local school districts.
