The faux mountain faces at Momentum Indoor Climbing challenge indoor alpinists of all skill levels and slink throughout a sprawling, 20,000-square-foot facility. Suited up in climbing gear and a jacket of adrenaline, climbers grab color-coded grips while navigating lead and top-rope routes more than 40 feet long. A 45-degree angled wall juts out from a separate bouldering area, where cushy foam padding waits to catch adventurous scalers and loose change falling from their pockets. Over the course of two weeks, indoor mountaineers can also master 13 cracks designed to imitate the natural crevices and patient temperaments of desert rocks.
