Is this experience for beginners? Yes! Included in the deal is an introductory class on either roped-climbing or bouldering where you’ll learn the fundamentals of climbing, important safety skills, and how to get the most out of your experience.
What should I wear? Loose-fitting clothing that you can easily move around in. You’ll be able to grab climbing shoes, harness, and other necessary gear onsite.
Do I have to be in good shape? Not really—climbing gyms have courses that cater to a wide range of fitness levels. Generally speaking, if you can climb a ladder you can indoor rock climb.
What’s the difference between roped-climbing and bouldering? With roped climbing you’ll be able to climb higher walls attached to a climbing rope managed by a climbing partner. Bouldering is unroped climbing on shorter walls over a heavily padded surface.
