What You'll Get
Spooky is the most neglected of the five basic human emotions: spooky, joy, sorrow, grouchy, and wet. Get horror glands pumping with today’s Groupon: for $25, you get two admissions to Nightmare Screamplex in Boyds, Maryland (up to a $50 value).
From the creators of Nightmare Manor and The Haunted Manor, Nightmare Screamplex tingles spines with three attractions, including a Nightmare Forest, Maize of Terror, and Lost Asylum, all erected on desecrated ground that was home to colonial murderers and felons 250 years ago. Upon entering the park, pairs of shriek seekers are ushered into the Nightmare Forrest, where they experience the terror of demon spirits, murderous apparitions, and ghosts waving unfinished tax returns. After conquering their innermost forest fears, guests then navigate through the Maize of Terror, a cornfield maze that no farmer would dare enter because of its ghastly inhabitants and overalls-stealing scarecrows. Assuming they escape the maize maze, only the bravest of souls experience the effects of insanity in the Lost Asylum, which terrorizes trespassers with howls and wails of the committed.

About Nightmare Manor
As summer turns to fall, the 200-year-old Nightmare Manor opens its doors to scare-seeking guests. Inside, actors portraying the spirits of the Manor's former residents who died in a tragic fire frighten explorers with detailed scenes and special effects as they transverse a series of rooms and surrounding property that would strike fear into the heart of any human, whether dead or undead. In addition to this macabre attraction, Nightmare Manor also houses an outdoor theater, bungee run, and bonfire.
