What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Pure Barre is the fastest, safest and most effective way to change a woman’s body. Employing techniques from Pilates, yoga & ballet, Pure Barre creates long, lean, lifted muscles through small, controlled movements. Pure Barre Athens was awarded Flagpole’s “Athens’s Favorite Place to Get Fit” in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

With more than 300 studios in North America, Pure Barre is one of the fastest-growing franchises in the nation. I knew I wanted to be a part of its success. It’s been so rewarding to be a part of the incredible team that makes Pure Barre what it is: a unique and effective fitness technique that succeeds in helping its students gain strength and confidence – both mentally and physically.

What do you love most about your job?

I love seeing people accomplish things outside of the studio because of what they’ve accomplished in the studio. Women who had never exercised a day in their life come try Pure Barre and, through serious dedication and commitment, achieve their fitness goals and gain never-felt-before confidence in the process. That confidence motivates them to be better bosses, employees, moms, students – or any other role they fill outside of Pure Barre.

What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?

It’s hard to narrow it down to just one. We have testimonials from women whose doctors are baffled by their health improvements (lower weight, lower blood pressure, lower triglycerides, higher energy, etc.), women who, for the first time ever, have felt confident in what they and their bodies are capable of, and women who never realized that 55 minutes of working out could be so much fun. Pure Barre has the ability to affect people physically, mentally and emotionally in such big and amazing ways – it’s a privilege to be a part of that.
