What You'll Get
A white-water rafting trip can be a thrilling way to explore a scenic river, exercise underused limbs, and witness baby sturgeons first steps. Float valiantly with today's Groupon: for $50, you get a ticket for one person to a 12-passenger high-adventure raft trip (up to a $135 value) from RiverRun Rafting & Wilderness Resort in Foresters Falls.
Designating its wilderness resort as a base camp, RiverRun Rafting floats families and friends on fully guided white-water adventures through the Rocher Fendu rapids. A high-adventure trip ($135 for one ticket) gears up the entire 12-body gaggle with all necessary equipment aside from a wet suit and waterproof auto-tuner. Stimulated sojourners can also dock during their lunchtime to gnaw on provided foodstuffs and imbibe the Ottawa River's lush scenery. The eco-friendly escapade ends at RiverRun's private bay, where raftmates can enjoy resort amenities such as the sauna, private beach, and volleyball court. A video replay of the wet trek is included in this package for all to discover who was covertly texting throughout the journey.

About RiverRun Rafting & Wilderness Resort
RiverRun Rafting & Wilderness Resort, a once humble 12-raft outfit, has grown into a 165-acre resort that accommodates all levels of outdoorsmen with a variety of lodgings. But whitewater rafting remains the focus of the resort, with guides leading trips ranging from high-adventure surges through foaming rapids to gentle floats down the Ottawa River's middle channel. And because the resort is located on a 4,000-foot stretch of shoreline, each trip ends on the resort's beaches, meaning that rafters get more time on the water since there isn't a second round of transport back to the resort.
River Run Rafting's staff of experts even pioneered a six-person sport raft dubbed the Ultimate Adventure Sports Raft, which is capable of turning back up river eddies, reentering rapids from the side, and suspending atop whitewater the way a surfer rides a wave. Upgrades are available for an additional cost.
