What’s your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part is seeing clients walk out feeling better than they did when they came in. Because reflexology can effect people in different ways, I have seen some clients become energized and eager to take on the world, while others relax completely and fall asleep in my office. When clients leave happy and ready to tackle their next task—knowing they are ready—that's complete satisfaction for me.
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
I have always had a passion for helping people. To be able to do it without medication and using only my hands was an added bonus. Seeing people feel better is gratifiying. Knowing that I am part of the "feeling better process" is what fuels the passion.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Reflexology is a great way to feel better without medication. However, if your doctor has prescribed medication for you to take, I do not interfere with it. Reflexology is great for backaches, asthma, sinus issues, and maintaining a general sense of well-being.
