Today's Groupon rhythmically and harmoniously moves your muscles like the flight of a soft-plumaged thrush through the bright foliage of a summer day. Gyrokinesis® builds strength, tones muscles, and improves flexibility by using principles of yoga, dance, tai chi, and gymnastics to simultaneously stretch, mobilize, and strengthen the entire body. Today's deal gets you a month of three Gyrokinesis® classes a week for $30 at San Francisco Gyrotonic®, a studio/sanctuary dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of San Franciscans with lives and health. A drop-in class is $15, so if you go to all three classes each week, this Groupon is a $180 value.
Gyrokinesis® classes at SF Gyrotonic® is composed of pleasant and effortless exercises that leave your spine supple, your joints resilient, your muscles powerful, and your mind powerfully supple and resilient. Juliu Horvath, a former dancer, developed the system to help recover from chronic pain and injuries. SF Gyrotonic® has a staff of friendly, personable trainers guide you through seated, lying, and standing rhythmic and undulating movements. There are two master trainers on staff at SF Gyrotonic®.
The system works the entire body through seven natural elements of spinal movement: forward, backward, left side, right side, left spiral, right spiral, and circular. The motions decompress joints, shape muscles, and stimulate organs to leave you feeling terrific, as if you just spent the day at a spa or paradise. Classes take place every Thursday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- two master trainers, all the specialized equipment, fabulous trainers, what more could you ask for? – dominiwondergirl, Citysearch
- This studio has all the various Gyrotonic machines, lots of different classes for different levels, and a very qualified staff (mostly ex-ballet dancers). It's the only Gyrotonic studio in the Bay Area with two Master Trainers on the floor. – kundera, Citysearch
- It is definitely a studio worth checking out if you are looking for a new form of exercise, particularly if you have any nagging injuries...I feel a little bit taller every time I leave there! – Berna T., Yelp
