Lemonade is one of only two things that are best when freshly squeezed—the other being the neck of a circus clown who just insulted your mother. Gingerly embrace the joy of lemons with today’s Groupon to Showcase of Citrus in Clermont. Choose between the following options:

Helmed by husband-and-wife duo John and Julie Arnold, Showcase of Citrus embraces families of citrus enthusiasts on its 2,500-acre working citrus and cattle ranch. The Eco-Tour & Swamp Buggy Ride offers visitors a fruit’s-eye view of the expansive ranch grounds inside an herbivorous monster truck, as they explore scenic groves, upland palmetto, and wooded swamps. Monster jockeys may encounter indigenous wildlife such as alligators, sandhill cranes, wild turkeys, coyotes, and feral lemonheads.
Those who wish to take a piece of the grounds home can opt for admission for two adults, as well as a fully customizable 5-pound bag of u-pick citrus. U-pickers are free to explore the groves on their own, plucking fresh-from-the-tree fruit in more than 50 varieties, including tangelos, limes, lemons, oranges, tangerines, and grapefruit. The ranch cultivates all fruits in the absence of pesticides, herbicides, and disappointing B-sides. This year, fruit picking runs until August 15 and starts up again in October; if redeemed in the off season, this Groupon can be redeemed for $5 toward edible merchandise such as jams and hot sauce.
Showcase of Citrus
On Friday and Saturday evenings, it’s not uncommon to hear Johnny Cash tunes echoing across Showcase of Citrus farm’s 2,500 acres as members of the Arnold family shake off another satisfying workweek with their friends and customers. Fourth-generation grower John Arnold and his family can usually be found caring for their groves of citrus trees, collecting fruit, making juice, feeding farm animals or greeting visitors from around the globe.
Located just 15 minutes from Disney World, the Arnold family farm produces more than 50 varieties of citrus fruit and blackberries without using pesticides, herbicides, or magic beans. The fruit–as well as jams, jellies, marmalades, and honey—are all available onsite at Farmer John's Old Time Country Store where guests can sample sauces, jellies, marmalade, and honey. Guests can spot native or exotic wildlife such as alligators, zebra, water buffalo, watusi cattle, or scarlet macaws on one of the farm’s monster-truck eco-safari tours.
