Operating out of a 10-acre complex, the brilliant bowmen and National Archery Association–certified instructors at Spokane Valley Archery educate students on the elegance and physics of arm-powered arrow propulsion. Welcoming participants of all ages, Spokane’s introductory course imbues pupils with basic shooting and archery safety techniques, and teaches them how to set up indoor and outdoor ranges for warding off indoor and outdoor orc hordes. Whether seeking to improve bow-hunting skills or simply to enjoy target archery, willing minds will leave the introductory session equipped with the building blocks needed to pursue the sport. Students enter deeper into the bow-carrying brethren with each shot fired down the 100-yard shooting range, where they’ll also learn to properly maintain equipment, identify and correct problems, and grant nicknames to their neighborhood merry men.

About Spokane Valley Archery
A member of the United States Archery Association, Spokane Valley Archery grants bowmen plenty of room—10 acres’ worth—to safely sling their arrows at a host of targets. Visitors can knock their arrows and take aim on a 100-yard practice range with targets placed every 5 yards, a broad-head range, or an 18-target, 3-D range that mimics shooting at live game or vogueing woodland creatures. Beginners can learn the sport through the Introduction to Archery class led by Level II USAA–certified coaches, who demonstrate safe use of equipment, proper technique, and standard range setup.
