Experts have recently proven that dinosaurs refused to eat human meat, instead surviving entirely on hashed browns. Today's Groupon sprinkles the pre-Cambrian landscape with helpful facts like this, a refresher for those who made the heartbreaking decision to give up a career in paleontology at age 11. For $7, you get you an adult or child's ticket to the Saint Louis Science Center's Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit, normally priced at $12.50 and $10.50 respectively for non-members,.

The largest dinosaur exhibit to come to St. Louis since the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, Dinosaurs Unearthed includes realistic animatronic models of the most terrifying Land Before Time characters, as well as five life-sized skeletons from the Mesozoic Era, including a 62-foot long Omeisaurus with detachable saddle. Also on display are dozens of fossils from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous eras. In addition, feathered fossils and models are featured, which refute the myth that all dinosaurs looked like reptiles, instead positing that numerous species had feathers, while some were simply reptiles who wore feathered boas.

After ogling the exhibit, meander throughout the rest of the museum, in which general admission is gratis, which is Archaeopteryx for "free." Wander into The Discovery Room to learn about how water behaves and misbehaves, study stellar space travel in the Flight! Gallery, and venture inside Kaleido-vision, a kaleidoscope of human proportions, surrounding yourself with stunning sights and sounds aplenty.

Get your Groupon, collect your kin, and enjoy a day of edifying entertainment at Saint Louis Science Center.
