Steve Anderson, a former Olympian and world karate champion, helms a team of certified black belts and personal trainers who teach five kickboxing regimens. Each 55-minute class—such as Cardio Kickboxing, focusing on full-body toning through fast-paced kick-punch-jazz-hand combinations—helps appendage projectors learn realistic self-defense and hone proper striking form while shedding up to 1,300 calories per session. For more power-focused resistance training, the Kickboxing Bags class challenges participants to drive varying strikes into heavy bags. Each class accommodates up to 12 pupils aged 14 and older, catering to all fitness levels by encouraging emerging martial artists to think up a combat moniker at their own pace.
The schedule slates classes afternoons through evenings Monday–Friday and mornings through afternoons on Saturdays. Kickboxers should wear clothing they feel comfortable moving and sweating in, and changing rooms are available. Though not included in this offer, the studio also buttresses fitness goals by providing weights, bikes, and treadmills.

About Steve Anderson Karate
A renowned competitive fighter in the world of sport karate in the 1980s, Steve Anderson stays active in the modern martial-arts community by leading self-defense classes for children and adults with a team of experienced instructors. Kids as young as 3 years old begin their long journey toward wearing black belts and regular belts in the Little Dragons class, soon progressing to the Little Ninjas level and, finally, the youth karate program that aims to build their mind, body, and spirit. Students 14 and older can fine-tune their bodies and skills in several versions of kick-boxing classes, from the fast-paced cardio class to sessions at bags, where fighters learn to defend themselves in the case of a couch-cushion uprising.
