What You'll Get
Though canines love tennis for its bouncy yellow balls, humans appreciate the freedom to bark loudly with each swing and bury their favorite rackets all over the court. Become a tennis beast with today's Groupon for tennis lessons with Harlan Hopchik, a U.S. Professional Tennis Association–certified instructor. Lessons will take place on the student's court of choice in the Allen, Frisco, Highland Park, McKinney, North Dallas, Park City, Plano, Richardson and Uptown areas. Choose between the following options:
- For $60, you get two private tennis lessons (a $120 value).
- For $50, you get five group tennis lessons (up to four players) (a $100 value).
Serving as director of tennis at both the Veranda Club and the Hilton Anatole Hotel, Hopchik helps students smooth out strokes and muster match magic by sharing his knowledge-wells of strategy, serving, and mechanics. Each private lesson lasts one hour and is tailored to suit the needs of each prospective pro, and group lessons teach up to four individuals the skill sets and techniques needed to excel at three-legged doubles. Lessons are available year-round for kids, adults, and their teenage hybrids.
Regardless of experience, everyone has something to learn from professional tennis instruction. Experienced players can defeat a nagging weakness, and those newer to the court can uncage a previously idle strength waiting to surge forth and burst into flames.

About Harlan Hopchik Tennis Instructor
Harlan Hopchik, a USPTA-certified tennis instructor, is willing to work with just about anyone who has a racket in his or her hand: beginners through advanced players, juniors through adults. Throughout the year, he travels around the Dallas area conducting private, semi-private, and group lessons that are geared toward not only improving skills, but also making the game more enjoyable. During sessions, students can tap into Harlan's wisdom and focus on any aspect of their repertoire—from improving their stroke technique and developing their match play tactics to learning how to trash-talk a particularly arrogant tennis-ball machine.
