If you want to learn how to make beautiful glass blown pieces, sign up with Justin. He is patient and explains the process all while helping you through each step. Very interesting and fun to watch how glass transforms. My adult son and I had a great time!

If you like to try different things like we do, this is a must. My 31 year old daughter and I met Justin and felt like family. Everyone does. It’s a dangerous craft and really old world,but you are in safe and knowledgeable hands. We made bowls, and if I bought them retail they would pay for the class. Beware, it is very hot, the ovens are blasting. Also, don’t be in a hurry. Can’t hurry art!

Justin was fantastic. We completed 8 pieces (a vase, a cup, a sphere , a heart, and 4 starfish) in the 2 hr group session (as a family of 5). He was very patient with my 3 teens. This was infinitely more educational than a trip to Disney. Keep in mind that you have to return the next day to get your items, as they need a night in the annealer.

It’s the full Blown Away experience with a cute vase! Everything is well explained, safe, interactive and so much fun. Remember it takes a lot of heat to melt glass so dress accordingly and bring cash for a tip.

The Orlando Glassblowing Center (OGC) was created with the intent of sharing our love of glassblowing with the public. The OGC studio was purchased from a retiring glassblower in October of 2020. The space has been converted from being a private studio to a public access studio. Our studio is small, around 1700 Sqft but filled with top quality equipment, tools and Instructors.
