Without goals, no one would unicycle the Appalachian Trail or train a flock of carrier pigeons to deliver meat pies to unsuspecting haberdashers. Today's Groupon to True Balance Training Studio helps you achieve myriad goals with a fitness trainer's expertise and motivation. For $25, you'll get a one-month membership (including group circuit training, group fitness classes, and goal consultation) and an hour-long personal training session, a $145 value.
When you join True Balance, you'll get a private consultation to discuss your goals, assess your health, and design a workout program that will make your dreams of bench-pressing a weighty goat come true. With your workout program ably devised by the health gurus at True Balance, you'll be able to come in between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. each Monday through Thursday for group circuit training. The friendly trainers will supervise your workout to ensure that you understand how to use the equipment and that you perform each exercise correctly to boost results without injury. On top of your consultation, you'll get an hour-long private training session to amp up your motivation and make doubly sure you're getting the most out of your workout.
In addition to circuit training, you'll get unlimited access to group fitness classes during your membership month. Stave off boredom and ameliorate the occasional oatmeal cream pie with an hour of Pilates, kickboxing, boot camp, Zumba, and more. Check out True Balance's schedule for class days and times.

Though there are few online reviews of True Balance, Baltimore Magazine has named founder Ali True the best personal trainer in the metropolitan area:
- Thanks to the diversity of True's training (she has certifications in sports nutrition, Reiki massage, kickboxing, advanced personal training, and a degree in human kinesiology), she truly outshines the competition.

Ali True has been an All-American lacrosse goalie, trained Dolph Lundgren, earned a degree in kinesiology, and received Baltimore magazine’s 2009 Best Personal Trainer award. No amount of accolades, however, can replace her passion for educating and training others to lead healthy, fitness-friendly lives. To this end, she left behind her days of celebrity-sculpting to open True Balance Studio, a facility that welcomes students of all levels of health and fame.
Neat rows of black kettlebells sit in front of mirrored walls until one-hour classes fill the gym with grunts of effort and the whistles of kettlebells about to boil over. Standard strength machines sit beside flexibility-boosting climbing frames or gymnastics-style rings suspended from the ceiling. Oscillating between the classrooms and the gym floor, Ali and her trainers coach their clients on cardio equipment, offer nutritional advice, or coax one last rep from straining muscles.
