Summer camp provides kids with lasting memories, lifelong friendships, and the opportunity to capture flags without causing an international incident. Give kids something to do with today’s Groupon: for $12, you get a one-day youth camp pass to Vaughan Sportsplex in Woodbridge (a $24.99 value).
The certified staff at Vaughan Sportsplex captivate youth 3–13 years old with athletic and academic day camps that build teamwork, physical endurance, and social skills. With a one-day pass ($24.99), minors may select from one of three summer camps, including the academic and sports camp at the complex and a survivor adventure camp or multisport camp at Boyd Park. The pleasurable blend of sports and study fills the 6.5-hour day with math, science, and language activities while allowing kids to let off steam through team sports such as soccer, ball hockey, basketball, and tag-team staring contests.
While the multisport retreat revolves around athletic pursuits throughout its session, the Survivor in the Sun excursion challenges youngsters with mental and physical pursuits including arts and crafts. The survivor camp also includes an interactive tribal council; however, no child is voted off based on how well they swim, their rank in eating contests, or how high they make campmates levitate during mental challenges. Parents can purchase a hot lunch (not included in today's deal) for their tykes and can rest assured, as all instructors are CPR and first-aid certified.
