My husband, son and I did the Via Ferrata in Whistler and it was an incredible experience! My 13 year son is a rock climber and felt right at home on the wall, my husband is used to climbing ladders and also felt comfortable. I started to get a bit scared during the first major vertical section and our guide Maya was amazing to notice and then readjust the climbing order so she could be right next to me to help me up the wall. I definitely needed and appreciated her reassurance and she was able to put me more at ease and guide me up the wall. In the end, we had such a sense of accomplishment and really enjoyed the beautiful views. Maya was very experienced and knowledgeable in the glacier, surrounding lakes and rock formations. I would highly recommend this incredible adventure.

We had an amazing time climbing Whistler Via Ferrta. Our guide Maya Kakizaki was fun, personal and professional we truly enjoyed having her taking us through this experience. This is an adventure worth while taking!

The tour guide Maya was absolutely fantastic. Excursion was top-notch and if you have the physical strength to do, it would recommend to anyone willing to spend four hours to climb the side of Whistler Mountain. Would recommend gloves to keep the calluses off your hands but other than that great overall experience. Apparently, the tour in the morning is actually hotter than the one in the afternoon due to the position of the sun so keep that in mind when booking.
