Everything from making the reservation, check-in, and the paddling tour was very easy and a very enjoyable experience! Gordon, our guide, is knowledgeable about the area and you can see he enjoys what he does. He's charismatic in making you feel comfortable from getting into the kayak, able to paddle the water and getting back to land.

This was my first time kayaking and had a good time. Margaret, our tour guide was great and gave us a good history lesson on the rocks at Cave Point. Would definitely recommend it, especially during August-September timeframe, where the weather was really nice!

Our guide, Margaret, was lovely. She was very engaging, trying to get a very quiet group to talk. Unfortunately, there were two people out of our group of 12 that were unable to catch on to kayaking and made the two hour tour, a three hour tour, causing our guide to spend all of her time coaching them. We did get a historical perspective on Cave Point once we were all in one place, with offers to paddle back with the guide for more information. All in, I would consider it an expensive kayak rental, with transportation to the shore, with 15 minutes of history. If all kayakers had been experienced, it likely would’ve been better. The only thing that would’ve rectified this is having two guides or an experienced only tour.

Probably would have rated a five had the guide, who was genuinely nice and earnest, dealt with couple who were unable to paddle slowing the trip 30 min

This was such an amazing adventure to go on before I had to move into college. My boyfriend and I wanted to go kayaking somewhere besides our little cabin so we started looking and found this tour. Our guide, Gordan, was amazing. He was constantly making conversation with everyone in our group to help pass time while we paddled. He even made sure to stop along the way and tell us about the different spots we were passing by. Whether that was the tour part of it or just him, it was great. Be prepared to get a little wet even if you don't fall in. The kayaks are ocean kayaks so your butt will get wet. Also the waves from the lake like to splash up over the side of the kayak and get you wet. Remember sunscreen and a water bottle. The paddle to cave point is nice and relaxing, but the paddle back to the boat landing is a workout.
