We met Adam at Reimers for a guided visit and to hone our outdoor lead climbing skills. He was early and had three top ropes set up before our meeting time. Adam is an excellent teacher. He communicates clearly and demonstrates all the skills he wants us to use. Without his guidance and coaching we would not have climbed as much and learned better lead climbing techniques. If you are trying to transition from indoor to outdoor climbing, returning to climbing or just want to climb things you are not (yet) comfortable leading, having Adam help guide you is a no brainer. Do this and you will have more fun!

Robert was great! We were Very New to Rock climbing and he taught us the hows and the whys and we felt very safe. Beautiful nature area nestled right in the city. Rock climbing is Hard work, but we had a lot of fun!

Just finished my 3rd climb with Rock-About in 4 months. Went to Enchanted Rock and it was such great climbing. Adam knows every route and he sets up the climbs perfectly for fun and to be challenging. Every single time I have climbed with Rock-About, I am so glad I did. Adam is totally professional, knows all the best climbing spots and routes in the areas and safety is always number 1. I can’t say enough good things about Adam and Rock - About. Enjoy your climb!

This was one of our favorite experiences during our time in Austin, if not our favorite!! My husband and I had never been outdoor climbing before but Russell was an absolutely amazing guide/ coach and made us feel so comfortable and taught us so many different things that we will hold on to! He is so knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging, and patient! We not only learned how to rappel, climb, tie the rope, etc but also about the history of climbing in the area and other interesting facts!! By the time we left we felt like we had been climbing for years! We are so so grateful to Russel for being such an amazing guide and providing us with such a great first experience outdoor climbing! Definitely book it! You will not regret it!

My partner and I recently took the multi-pitch climbing course from Adam. The course was well structures with lots of very informative ground demonstrations of the various techniques and tools we would be using plus ample time climbing and putting the techniques into practice. Adam guided us up the various pitches and gently instructed us as we employed his teachings on how to properly build anchors, belay, manage rope, rappel, etc. He was very relaxed and easy going which made the whole experience less stressful and more enjoyable for us. We feel like we got plenty of experience and that this course was a great value for the money.
