- Mixed-media art studio
- Equipped with arts & crafts tools
- Reserve a personal workstation
- Have fun while being creative
Though one could contest a work of art’s artiness, there is no debating that a well-crafted necklace is more aesthetically pleasing than a pile of old banana peels with an Austrian flag sticking out of it. Create artistic eye candy with today’s Groupon: for $10, you get three hours of studio time at A Work of Heart (up to a $21 value).
A Work of Heart is a fully stocked art studio that empowers kids and adults to find creativity through artistic experimentation. Inside the studio, eyes are greeted by a bounty of fabrics, chalks, beads, stencils, and enough punches to knock out an army of paper dolls in true mixed-media-art fashion.
By reserving a personal workstation for three hours, craft carpenters are welcome to use these tools to build scrapbooks, jewelry, or any other possible projects. The only items that require added cost are project foundations (canvasses, books, frames, etc.), dry adhesive, and full sheets of paper, although access to the scrap bins of fancy paper, card stock, and crumpled air remain complimentary.
While there is no formal instruction during studio hours, helpful staff members are present and happy to help out. While only one Groupon may be used per group, the crafty confines are equally equipped for solo artists, a band of family members looking for a unique outing, or a gaggle of gals embarking on an artful night out.
