XrossOver Academy's coaches believe in a layered approach to the sport of basketball. Training starts with general agility drills, then moves on to more and more sport-specific skills as students progress through the academy's six-tier program. Throughout the course of training, coaches make use of one tool that's totally unique to the academy: the XrossOver vest. The vest has two straps, which link to bands worn around the arm, just above the elbow. Fastening these straps limits the student's range of arm motion, forcing them to develop efficient dribbling, improved ball control, and a superior penguin impression.
