Costco Membership Promotion Eligibility

Valid only for new members and those whose previous memberships (Primary and Household) have been expired for at least 18 months or more. If you have a question about whether you qualify as a new member, contact Costco Membership Services.

Costco accepts all Visa cards, as well as cash, checks, debit/ATM cards, EBT, and Costco Shop Cards.

Activating your Costco Membership

Your Costco Gold Star Membership has been activated and is ready to use online! Incentives will be automatically delivered by Costco to qualifying members via email within two weeks of this confirmation.

• You will receive an email with a confirmation from Costco with the subject line: "Thank You for your New Costco Membership.” Please allow up to two hours to receive your confirmation email. 
• To receive your physical membership card, visit the membership counter at your local Costco and present your Costco confirmation email and valid photo ID. 
• Your $40 Digital Costco Shop Card will be emailed to the email address provided by the Primary Member at time of sign-up within 2 weeks after sign-up to qualifying members. 

*You do not need your physical membership card in order to receive your incentive.
