Who should get this procedure?

Fat reduction surgery is best for patients who have stubborn areas of fat that they cannot remove with diet and exercise. It not recommended for patients under the age of 18, and candidacy for treatment is conditional upon a preprocedure consultation; those found to be ineligible will receive a full refund.

What happens during the procedure?

During the procedure, a doctor will make a small incision and use a suction tool to remove unwanted fat.

How long will it take?

Depending on the area, the removal of fat can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours.

What happens after?

This is an outpatient procedure, so you are free to go home once treatment ends. Your doctor will give you a list of post-treatment instructions to prevent infection in the weeks following the surgery.

Can I drive home after surgery?

No, it is not recommended for patients to drive after surgery.

How long does it take to recover?

Most patients can return to light activities in 1 to 2 days. For others, however, it may take a few weeks for the swelling to subside.
