Riot Red Daffodil Flower Bulbs - Planting and Care Instructions

1. Find a site that offers full sun or partial shade.
2. Plant the bulbs with the pointy end up.
3. Plant your daffodils twice as deep as the bulb is tall.
4. Cover the bulbs with soil and water them well. Mulch the area with pine bark mulch or chopped leaves.
5. Water generously while the plant is blooming, but keep the soil relatively dry when it is dormant.
6. Fertilize when shoots poke through the ground in early spring.
7. Remove daffodil blooms as soon as they fade.
8. Divide daffodils every three to five years, or whenever you notice that flowers are smaller in size or number.
