After a cliffhanger-packed Season 3 finale and four long months of waiting, ABC’s Nashville is finally set to return for Season 4 on September 23. Hopefully, viewers will get answers to some burning questions. Has Avery left Juliette for good? Will Gunnar and Scarlett kiss? DID DEACON SURVIVE HIS LIVER TRANSPLANT?

Unlike many shows that are, say, set in Chicago but clearly shot in Toronto (looking at you, The Good Wife), the makers of Nashville shoot scenes at real Music City locations quite a bit. To get you ready for the season premiere, we’ve gathered some Nashville TV show locations that you can visit on your next trip to Nashville.

The Bluebird Cafe |  4104 Hillsboro Pike

Friends had Central Perk, 90210 had the Peach Pit, and Cheers had, well, Cheers. Nashville has the Bluebird, the intimate live-music venue where the show’s characters gather to perform duets, get in spats, throw parties, stage comebacks, and, of course, deliver exposition. As it happens, the Bluebird is a real place with a genuinely impressive musical pedigree. Among the many singer-songwriters who played the room early in their careers: Garth Brooks and a 15-year-old Taylor Swift. Nashville has shot countless scenes here—though in recent seasons production has moved to a detailed replica on a sound stage to avoid interfering with business at the real Bluebird.

Rayna’s House | 1358 Page Road

The enormous mansion used as the home of country queen Rayna James was recently put on the market for more than $18 million. If you don’t have that kind of dough, you can see it from the outside on a Nashville-themed guided tour, such as the one offered by Gray Line. The relatively modest houses of Deacon and Gunnar, along with other noteworthy stops, are on the itinerary, too.

Another important music venue to both Nashville and Nashville is the Ryman Auditorium, which served as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974 (the Opry then moved to its own theater, which has also been featured on Nashville). A few important musical moments have taken place at the Ryman on the TV show, most notably when warring leading ladies Rayna James (Connie Britton) and Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) momentarily buried the hatchet to perform their duet, “Wrong Song.”
