Imo’s started in 1964 by Ed and Margie Imo, a young couple who were tired of having to pick up their favorite St. Louis style pizza’s decided that they wanted to start a restaurant that offered both take-out and delivery to their customers. A phenomenon was born. Quickly it became a success, as those in the surrounding neighborhoods loved the idea of having their pies delivered and less than a year later Imo’s opened another franchise. By 1985, Imo’s grew to more than 30 locations and offered the opportunity for individuals to open franchises. Fast-forward to 20 years later, Imo’s now has more than 96 locations around the country, and their headquarters is located in the heart of Downtown St. Louis. They offer a rewards program for loyal customers to help them save money on their future orders.
