AccuQuilt was established as a business in 2008 when founder Steve Nabity, an engineer by trade, discovered that a machine he invented to cut paper could also serve the quilting community well. The company is headquartered in Omaha, Neb. The website, Accuquilt.com, was launched to sell their easier way of cutting shapes for quilting to the masses. You can save big on supplies with coupons and promos currently available.
There are tons of resources on the website for quilters. An idea board showcases many recent projects completed by the AccuQuilt community with instructions, patterns, descriptions and level of difficulty. There are several free quilt patterns on the site too like the popular Squash Blossoms pattern, the Star Weaver quilt pattern, Confetti pattern, Hunter Star and many more.
The main attraction and reason for AccuQuilt.com are the cutting sets. The company’s proprietary machines are called the GO! Series. You can purchase the GO! BIG Electric Fabric Cutter Starter Set perfect for all quilting skill levels, and the Studio 2 Fabric Cutter designed for quilting experts. These cutting machines cut specified dies for the quilting pattern of your choice and up to 6 pieces of fabric at one time. When you’re working on a quilt that calls for 150 or more of the same shaped piece of fabric, you’ll understand quickly the time savings delivered by the GO! AccuQuilt cutting machines. The machines are compatible with GO! Dies which are also available on the website.
Die packs are available in specific shapes or bundles. You can choose the GO! Starter Pack which include a variety of different dies required for various, common quilt patterns. There are currently eight starter packs from which to choose. There also are many individual shaped dies you can purchase like applique dies, strip cutter dies, designer dies and more. Quilting accessories also are sold on Accuquilt.com like cutting mats, totes, storage, sewing supplies and tools. If you’re a quilter at heart and wish you could skip to the funnest part of quilting, check out the promos and products at Accuquilt.com today.
