How Hotels.com Rewards Works
Hotels.com Rewards is a three-tier loyalty program that’s free to join (sign up here!). Once you do, you’ll start in the basic Hotels.com Rewards tier, where you can earn Rewards stamps toward a free Reward Night (a $125 average value). Earn 10 stamps in a membership year to graduate to the Silver tier—or 30 stamps to graduate to the Gold tier—where you’ll unlock even more benefits.
Stamps and Rewards will remain in your account for 12 months from the last date of collecting a stamp or redeeming a Reward Night. Hotels.com will send a reminder 3 months in advance to give you time to plan.

How to Earn Hotels.com Rewards Stamps
You’ll earn 1 stamp for every night you stay at an eligible hotel or vacation rental. Every 10 stamps earns you 1 free Reward Night. The amount of that Reward Night is taken from the average of your 10 previous stays, but is generally around $125. You can earn Rewards stamps two ways:
Online
- Sign in to your account
- Use the Rewards filter to search for eligible hotels or vacation rentals.
- Select a property and choose Pay Now.
- Book and stay at the property.
- Your stamps will show up in your account within 72 hours after check out.
By Phone
- Find an eligible hotel or vacation rental.
- Call Hotels.com to book your vacation.
- Give the representative the email address associated with your Rewards account.
You will not collect Rewards stamps for the following:
- Reward Nights you book through Hotels.com
- Incomplete stays
- Bookings made while not signed in
- Bookings at ineligible properties
- Travel completed before you joined the Rewards program
- Bookings made through affiliate sites or through Group Travel Services
- Bookings made as part of a package
- Some bookings made with a coupon or code
