How do I make a booking with Handy?

You can make a booking online, either through the app or website. You’ll need to give some contact details, your address and payment information to make a booking.To get a quote, you’ll just need to start making a booking for a price to be generated. The pro will be paid directly by Handy, and your payment details will be kept secure.

What is the Handy cancellation policy?

It’s easy to reschedule appointments with Handy, and you can do so free of charge if you make changes in advance. If you have to cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled booking, you’ll have to pay a $10-$15 fee; if you have to cancel 2 hours before or sooner, you won’t be refunded for the service.

If you've for a cleaning plan with a minimum term, skipped bookings will be billed and added to your saved cleaning credits.

What is included in Handy cleaning?

Handy cleaning covers all the basics, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning floors, taking out the garbage and doing dishes. You can also request extra services, which add about half an hour of time onto the booking - these include cleaning inside cabinets, cleaning out the fridge and doing laundry.

Do I need to be home to let me Handyman (or woman) in?

This is up to you! When you make your booking, you’ll need to give entry instructions to your hired pro - leave a spare key, let the doorman know or let them in yourself.
