When Johnny Tarini started working at Cementos/DeArini's Villa, he had to use a milk crate to boost himself up as he washed dishes. Now the owner, Tarini follows in the footsteps of his parents, the original owners of DeArini's Villa. Since 1967, the kitchen has been crafting classic Italian food, such as the housemade red sauce that's poured between layers of the lasagna that the Columbus Dispatch called "noteworthy" for its fresh vegetable mix and good balance of cheese and sauce. With live musical acts sometimes taking the stage, diners might be moved to dance or juggle the eatery's housemade meatballs.
