Staff were quite friendly & cleaning staff helpful / polite. A few very minor concerns to make you aware of:
1. Upstairs (tot area) was VERY hot. Admittedly weather was low 90's--but visitors should probably not start sweating as soon as they get upstairs.
2. Tot area Manga/Picasso-tiles could use more / a bit stronger magnets to help hold the play "forts" kids tend to make together.
3. In the Biology exhibit on the 2nd floor, the really cool copper-pipe lung visualization of breathing where the "person" is made to breathe through the fake nose by pulling the diaphragm down: it had relatively realistic light breathing (suede-material) diaphragm--but to really make it clear what's happening, it might be better to have a bit more flexible of diaphragm material. For kids to actually get the IDEA of what's happening, they need to see a "exercising person" version with strong breathing that really inflates those balloons! (Not a flexible enough material to pop them/ pop them off though & pull the diaphragm down further toward the table, but somewhat more elastic). Perhaps this was tried--I just wanted to note that it was tough for the kids to understand what was happening despite the super-cool visual, because the breathing movements were so small. Thanks for raking feedback! VERY FUN TIME. I'm sure we'll be back, even though we live in Indy.
