Something came up and now you have to cancel or change your reservation. It happens a lot. So we put together this guide to make it easy to find everything you need to know about contacting Priceline and canceling or modifying your reservation yourself.

How to Contact Priceline Customer Service

Priceline Cancellation Policy

Priceline is a third-party marketplace that makes it easy to shop for travel necessities like hotel, flights, and car rentals all in one place. But that means cancelling a vacation through Priceline isn't always quite as straightforward. Many of the hotel and rental car reservations you make through Priceline come with free cancellation, BUT NOT ALL. It is very important that you know the cancellation policy before you book, otherwise you could end up with non-refundable tickets. Lots of times it will be up to the airline, car rental company, or hotel if you are able to cancel.

 


Priceline Tip: Express Deals and Name Your Own Price Deals are always non-refundable and non-changeable.


How to Cancel a Reservation at Priceline

You can change or cancel most reservations with Priceline by logging into your reservations and making edits. 

Option 1: Use self-service tools

  1. Log into My Trips if you have a Priceline account, or search Find My Trips and select “View/Cancel Itinerary” next to the reservation you want to cancel.
  2. Look for a “Cancel” button on your reservation page. Read the policies associated with a cancellation before you continue. If you’re satisfied with those options, go ahead and click “Cancel.”
  3. You should receive a confirmation email. This email may not include an update on your refund/credit request. When the refund/credit is fully processed, Priceline will notify you.

Option 2: Contact Customer Care

If you cannot cancel your using the online tools, you can contact Customer Care at 800-774-2354.  



Common Hotel Reservation and Cancellation Questions

Can I Change the Name on My Reservation?

You cannot change the reservation name after purchase.

Can I Add a Name to My Reservation?

Contact the hotel where your reservation was made to add additional names to the reservation.



Common Flight Reservation & Cancelation Questions

Flexibility to change or cancel your flights depends on the type of ticket you purchased and policies vary from airline to airline. 

How Can I Cancel My Flight?

You can use the self-service tools, contact customer care, or use the cancellation form. Use Priceline’s cancellation form to authorize Priceline to cancel your reservation according to the cancellation policy associated with your reservation. Find the airline change/cancellation policies list here. *If you booked separate one-way flights instead of round-trip, there will be two cancel buttons, one for each flight, under your reservation. The flights need to be canceled separately. 

When Will I See My Airline in My Express Deal Booking?

For Express Deals/Priceline deals, the full itinerary is only revealed after you book. They also are non-changeable and non-refundable.

The Airline Says They are not Accepting Cancellations; Now What?

If the airline does not currently allow cancellations, Priceline will not be able to override their policy. 


Common Car Rental Cancellation Questions

When I Cancel My Rental Car Reservation, Can I Also Cancel My Collision Damage Coverage?

You can receive a 100% refund for Collision Damage Insurance up to 30 minutes before the pickup time. If you cancel your reservation, a cancellation will be processed for your rental car reservation and the insurance. If you still need a rental car, you may go back online to place a new request.

Does Each Rental Company Have its Own Cancellation Policy?
