Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch is a great place to visit. It was clean, friendly, and educational. I learned a lot of interesting facts about alpacas. Alpacas bring me joy and theses were no exception. I was delighted to be mobbed by a pack of alpacas!

Great Alpaca farm to visit. Knowledgeable owner and she runs terrific programs for kids like 4H and a summer camp. We went during the pandemic and had a tour all to ourselves. The farm is clean and orderly and it is my belief that she runs a tight ship regardless of a public health crisis. Our little (2 years old) loved it and my husband and I thought it was fantastic. I would highly suggest that you support this local entrepeneur.

Awesome tour! The alpacas were fascinating! We had so much fun learning about alpacas and the farm's operations, observing their unique behaviors, feeding and walking them. The owner and tour guide Jennifer was so friendly and knowledgeable. We left wanting to start our own alpaca farm haha! 11/10 would recommend

About Alpacas At Marquam Hill Ranch

Alpacas roam Peru, Bolivia, and Chile in abundance, but you don't have to go all the way to South America to meet them. That's because more than 80 alpacas make their home at Marquam Hill Ranch, an 18-acre countryside property in Molalla. There, you can take an approximately one-hour tour, complete with an educational talk on the alpaca. Participants will experience an alpaca feeding, and an opportunity to interact with and pet an alpaca. Marquam Hill Ranch also has a store stocked with rugs and yarn made from the very fiber of the alpacas that live on the ranch.
