About Barrel Harbor Brewing
Vista, California is home to more breweries per capita than any other municipality in the country. So it's no surprise that's where Barrel Harbor Brewing got its start. But it's the complex beers, not the location, that have kept the brewery around and helped it expand. Check out a few of the suds you may find on tap.
- South Island Pilsner: This refreshing pilsner is made with German pilsner malt and Czech lager yeast, plus German noble and motueka hops. The latter imparts the brew with its citrus notes, making it the ideal summer drink. 5.2% ABV)
- Fenris I.P.A.: This tropical West Coast style IPA pours a deep golden hue, and is hopped with Mosaic and Nugget hops, which impart notes of pineapple, mango, peach, and grapefruit. (7.3% ABV)
- Blunderbuss Blonde: A colderthan normal fermenting process lends this Belgian-style ale banana scent and flavor, while malts provide the flavorful, full-bodied brew with a bread-y, biscuit-like finish. (6.5% ABV)
