1,200-acre working cattle ranch sprawls with riding trails and pastoral vistas
What You'll Get
Horses are our superiors in every way, which is why we’re so lucky that they allow us the courtesy of riding all about on their supple yet strong horse backs. Deepen the human-horse bond with this voucher.
- $55 for two 60-minute horseback trail rides ($120 value), valid Monday–Wednesday
The two rides can be taken by two individuals at the same time, or by one person across multiple visits. After taking a short riding lesson, between seven and nine riders take off as a team across the ranch’s trails. Participants should arrive approximately 20 minutes early to prep their horses.
The Fine Print
About Colonial Cowboy
The trusty team of Quarter Horses at The Colonial Cowboy escorts visitors over the sprawling pastures and winding trails that grace the 460-acre working cattle ranch. Their owner, Gay Leigh Bingham, draws upon 25 years of experience when teaching new riders the subtleties of proper horsemanship. During private and group riding lessons, she aims to teach riders the proper way to confidently command a horse so they can ride comfortably on trails or help equine companions practice self-control when trotting through apple orchards.
